It can be difficult to distinguish between a day outfit or a night outfit. The more casual an outfit is, the more likely it is to be considered a “day outfit”. However, that is not always the case. In a previous post, I have mentioned that is always important to keep in mind what you are dressing for and what the setting will be for wherever you are going.
Our Fashionista is wearing an outfit that can be worn from day to night. She is wearing a loose-fitting casual dress with a pom-pom design across the bottom. Her dress can be worn either for a day look or a night look because of how simple it is and it is all based on how you choose to accessorize. This Fashionista chose a colorful statement necklace along with nude strappy wedges that fluctuates this style from day to night. Her pumps are the perfect example of both day and night because the strap design correlates with the night scene, but the wedge heel is preferably for daytime.
I would recommend this outfit for a fancy brunch with the family or a date in the day and going out in Richmond fan bars that are more casually dressed for the night scene.
One Simple Change:Â Our Fashionista’s dress is what indicates her look being a day to night look. If she was wearing a form-fitting dress then her look would solely be appropriate for the night scene. Instead of Richmond fan bars, her look would be best for downtown Richmond where people dress more scandalously.
