Grocery shopping? Check. Money deposited into the bank? Check. Fresh flowers for the bedroom? Check. Even though it’s summer, there’s still so much to be done and only so many hours to do it. I caught this Fashionista on her way to the art studio to work on some of her personal projects in-between errands. Her casual, laid back style was perfect for getting things crossed off her list!
The first thing I noticed were her spotless Birkenstocks. This chic shoe, part of the “ugly shoe trend,” is the perfect, easy-to-slip-on sandal that makes running around so effortless. Not to mention, it’s comfortable. Who wouldn’t want to be in-style and comfortable? The oversized button-down is a staple everyone should have in their closet, which can be thrown over (or tucked into) anything from jeans to a skirt. In this look, it keeps the overall feel casual, but dresses up the the jersey leggings. The look is completed with the felt hat and as an added bonus, it keeps this Fashionista from getting too much sun!
Even though the to-do list goes on and on, at the very end of the day there is that tiny glimmer of hope: meeting up with friends.
One Simple Change: If your plans are to sit outside and celebrate summer with friends or to meet up at someone’s apartment for girl’s night, switch the shirt for something a little bit dressier. This white shirt will spice up the outfit a little bit while still giving that breezy, relaxed look that’s great for the hot weather.
