At the start of this fall, I am seeing a lot of denim on my campus. Denim shorts, denim jeans and most interestingly, denim jackets! Denim jackets are making a comeback, and I am definitely excited about this vintage trend.
Denim jackets were part of a huge trend in the ‘90s and early 2000s when most of us Fashionistas were growing up. I think it is awesome that a trend that we all know and love is coming back.
This Fashionista is wearing a fitted denim jacket paired with black leggings and a loose, burgundy top. She is also wearing chestnut-colored fringe boots. This jacket really adds to the outfit and although the outfit is still simple, the denim jacket makes the look trendy.
This is a perfect addition to any fall ensemble. The denim jacket is a great way to keep warm when the temperatures drop, while also keeping up with the latest trends. It is a more stylish alternative to something such as a North Face jacket. Personally, I love an oversized denim jacket paired with high-waisted jeans and adidas. adidas are part of another ‘90s trend making a comeback, so I think this would really add to the vintage tone of the overall look.
One Simple Change: Walking to class when it gets a little colder outside could be a hassle, but this denim jacket is a perfect addition to any outfit for class. A simple change to this outfit could be adding the adidas sneakers that I love, to make the walk to class even more comfortable and casual.
