Fall is finally here! And now that it is, we scramble to find that perfect jacket and pair of boots to keep the chill out. I spotted this Fashionista coming out of class on campus sporting the most casual yet stylish ensemble. Her jacket immediately caught my eye.
It’s everything a fall jacket should be, water-resistant, durable and most importantly, fashionable. The light color is a complete change from what one would expect from a fall jacket, and I found it refreshing to see such a bright piece being sported in mid-October.
Not wearing white after Labor Day is a rule that is meant to be broken. Over the years, whites and creams have been sported in fall/winter runway shows and in several ad campaigns. The rule is dead. Instead, whites and creams become colors to wear in the fall and winter when one wants to stand out.
This jacket would make a great staple to every student’s closet. We all need a handy, water-resistant jacket for fall when the temperatures drop and the weather becomes near unpredictable. I see more and more students turning to these jackets because they’re the smartest option for traveling to and from class on campus.

By keeping her pants simple, the boots and jacket are eye-catching with the shades of cream, brown and gold perfectly complementing each other. I loved the wearability of this outfit, and how it features a more fashionable take on a very simple, everyday outfit.
