Welcome back, ladies! This month’s article is going to be a Fashionista spotlight on a young woman ready to go to work!
On this Fashionista, you will see that she is dressed business casual from head-to-toe. Dressing professional is very important for college students who wish to have an internship prior to graduation and a job lined up after graduation, so the outfit on the Fashionista in these pictures is a perfect example of how one should dress for an interview.
What is so special about the Fashionista’s outfit is that not only did she buy every piece from Kohl’s for a good price, but it looks really comfortable. She is wearing a navy blue blazer with blue and black checkered pants, a white blouse, a pair of Ray-Bans, some bangles, a gold watch, and knock off TOMS.
Finding the right outfit for a job hunt is already hard due to the crazy schedules college students have, but what tops that is the amount of money we have to spend just to find an outfit for an interview, but this Fashionista proves otherwise.
Reasonably priced stores such as Target, Walmart, Forever 21, and H&M are other outlets you can go visit to purchase a business casual outfit at the last minute. Never forget that you don’t have to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks.
For every college student who is nervous about the interviews for a job or an internship, here is my final piece of advice: walk in with confidence and dress to impress!
