Even though midterms are in full swing during this time of the fall semester, there is nothing stopping the numerous students at Georgia College from attending music festivals and concerts nearby, such as Deep Roots Music Festival in Milledgeville and Music Midtown Music Festival in Atlanta. They are a not-so-new way of experiencing live music, which have been growing in popularity over the past several years. However, music is not the only focus of these festivals. These festivals are also a common place for festival fashion and trends. Festival fashion gives Fashionistas/os the opportunity to have fun and show off the wide variety of forms that the festival offers.
Although festival fashion can sometimes be offensive, this Fashionista’s outfit has my stamp of approval. Wearing a chic lace top and fun printed black and white shorts, this Fashionista is ready to catch everyone’s eye at any music festival. I am absolutely in love with this outfit because each individual piece is unique and none of these pieces take away from the overall look. This Fashionista is seen rocking a lace blouse, black-and-white shorts, a long chunky necklace, cowboy boots and a gold bracelet. The whole look is comfortable yet chic, which is perfect for any music festival.
To make this look even better add a crossbody that is large enough to fit essential items inside, without affecting your ability to have fun and dance in the crowd. Additionally, find a pair of sunglasses that match your outfit so that way you won’t have to worry about the sun getting into your eyes.
