It’s that time of year again. No, I am not talking about the ending of midterms or the beginning of finals. Also, summer break is (unfortunately) too far away to talk about. This time of the year is for festival season. As the weather gets warmer and spring approaches, outdoor concerts and weekend festivals start appearing and thriving. This month’s post is dedicated to tips and tricks for festival season and some outfit inspiration!
Be comfortable. This Fashionista has on some black denim shorts, a white bandeau, and a white crop top. All of her pieces are cute but pass the comfort test. Make sure that you can walk around all day and withstand heat in your outfit.
Make accessories your best friend. This Fashionista decided to add cute black, studded booties to her look, layer different types of bracelets and bangles, add a huge, trendy statement necklace, and top off her look with some sweet black, polarized Dior sunglasses. So another way to make any look unique, cool, funky, or pop is by adding lots of jewelry, mixing in cute shoes, sunglasses, and a bag as well.
Make sure your hair can withstand blood, sweat, and tears. Just kidding. But in all seriousness, make sure your updo is one that will last through a full day of dancing and being in the sun (and sometimes rain). I suggest something messy, cute, and simple just like this Fashionista has. Some messy, beachy waves add volume, texture, and style.
Always bring the necessities. Although not pictured, my last tip is necessary. For any festival, make sure you bring chapstick, hand sanitizer, your credit card/money, sunglasses, some sunscreen, a bandana, hair ties, and an external battery charger as well as your real charger. These little things will save your life, so do not forget!
