Spring semester is winding down, which means finals are here and kids are packing up for summer! Finals are the most stressful part of being a college student. So, why give up on your killer style just because of dreadful tests because it is possible to be stylish and comfortable for your long study days. I can be found guilty of slacking off and wearing oversized sweatshirts with baggy shorts and flip flops. When I do this, I find myself just wanting to watch Netflix instead of class. Finals is a long week for us students and all we really want to do is crawl in bed and sleep! What I noticed that helped me get motivated to study was to actually get dressed in cute, but comfortable clothing. It helped me get my day started because I felt like I had to get out of my room and be productive. Remember, dress well, test well.
Campus is clearing out fast with only a few days left here. The library is packed with hard-working students, coffee cups are everywhere you look and student’s styles are all over the place.
This Fashionista’s style stood out to me due to the fun low-key colors. She looked comfortable, but still very stylish. She wore a romper from Urban Outfitters with a floral patterned kimono from PacSun by Brandy Melville then the go-to for summer Rainbow flip flops. No one can go wrong with Brandy Melville for a summer look as this name-brand screams summer across the store. This Fashionista tied her outfit together with her accessories. Her sunglasses gave the outfit a hipster look while her bracelets Alex and Ani bangles were on one wrist and an army green wrap bracelet on the other. She finished the look off with a unique long gold necklace from T.J.Maxx. The accessories added a little brightness and fun to her outfit and overall she displayed a stylish, but still comfortable look for her finals that week.
I know finals can be a pain, but I believe when you look good, you feel good. Dressing will give off motivation to get your day started. You will feel confident about yourself and not like you just rolled out of bed with only four hours of sleep. Just remember summer is around the corner, good luck y’all!
One Simple Change: You made it! Summer is finally here and you are home with your best friends. It is time to celebrate another school year complete with a girl’s night out. Take off those Rainbow flip flops and switch them with your favorite pair of wedges, take off the kimono to show off your arms, curl your hair a little and let loose with your best friends. Enjoy your summer!
