Well folks, it’s everyone’s favorite time of year again—finals. We dread the hours that are wasted away in the library or stressing about the exams that all happen to fall on the same day. I learned something many years ago—if you want to do your best you must look your best. For me, this is a tried and true fact. I have to feel 100 percent to boost my confidence. I know I know, it is so hard to try to piece an outfit together when you have so many things on your plate. This Fashionista looks like she could be cozy in the library and relaxed when she is done.
It is all about finding the balance for your studying style. Because the weather in Charleston doesn’t get down too low we don’t have to worry about having a giant coat with us at all times. Her woven sweater is enough to keep her warm in the library and outside. She kept it very simple with her grey relaxed shirt and black pants. The chunky platform boots make this outfit go from school to anywhere. I love a thick shoe for the winter; it’s a trend I saw in Spain and I’m so glad it is coming here. The colors in her outfit accompany her tan skin giving her a summer feel to get her through the winter.
One Simple Change: Finally done with finals? Go celebrate! Don’t worry, you don’t have to change your whole outfit, just add a dark blazer and a statement necklace for a more structured look and you are set to go anywhere!
