It’s that time you dread but secretly welcome: finals. You dread it because this means non-stop studying and stress; but once finals are over, you can enjoy a much needed summer break. Unfortunately, many students understandably dress for comfort and not necessarily style during finals week. But this Fashionista stood out in a sea of sweats, leggings, T-shirts and sneakers in a chic, yet comfortable outfit.
This T-shirt dress is the perfect piece to wear for a late-spring day, when it’s warm enough to not wear a jacket but not hot enough to be sweating every moment you step outside. This Fashionista caught my eye because she didn’t look like everyone else. A T-shirt dress is something a little bit more unusual than your standard T-shirt and jeans. The style of the dress is also different from your average floral sundress; the maxi length and side slits make this dress a little chicer. However, this dress is still insanely comfortable and perfect for long days of studying—it’s basically like wearing a super long version of your favorite T-shirt.
The neutral palette of this look tied this Fashionista’s whole look together. Cream and gold is a true combination. Her gold watch is stylish and functional (can’t miss that exam!) and the other gold bracelets add a touch of sparkle to an otherwise super casual outfit. Her gold-rimmed sunglasses shade her eyes and are perfect for walking to and from the library.
Finally, a messy bun and tan flip flops are super easy to throw on—but still look stylish—and her mauve fingernails and red toenails add a subtle pop of color to her outfit. Altogether, this Fashionista is able to stay comfortable but still look cute during one of the most stressful weeks of the year.
