My favorite aspect of the summer season (other than the beaming sun) has to be the reconnection with all of my old friends in my hometown. I don’t know about you, but for my friends and I that means endless city brunches, girl’s nights out and beach days. We basically spend as much time together as possible until reality kicks in and we have to part ways again come mid-August.
The best part of our GNO’s is the dressing up and getting to flaunt that new outfit you had to buy in the store with no place to wear it. This Fashionista had an outfit perfect for a day of girl bonding and mimosa sipping. She wore a strapless olive green dress that’s just shy of being floor length. Its material is comfortable and great for summer weather. The dress is cute and casual, while also looking appropriate and dressy, it all comes down to how you accessorize it. Her sandals are a great choice for a day of store hopping and sale splurging. She styled accordingly with her favorite summer tote bag. She kept her outfit simple yet effective and was looking great while not going over the top. She added fun bangles and bracelets to her look for the cherry on top.
Everyone looks forward to those times spent with just the ladies, but it’s difficult to decide on that perfect outfit with a day filled with mixed activities and the night plans still unknown. This Fashionista gets my stamp of approval for a great outfit GNO.
One Simple Change: Throw on a pair of cute wedges and a nice statement necklace and you’ve made yourself an excellent weekends wear outfit! Great for fun dinners and whatever the weekend happens to bring you. Be sure to keep emergency flip flops in your bag just in case you end up at the beach like I always do.
