Is it February already? Geez, I have no idea where the time goes. I’m sure all you college kids can relate when I say the weeks really blend together! However, I can’t say that I’m not anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring. Once again, I am so psyched to have the opportunity to talk fashion with all of you lovelies reading this (I’m still not totally unconvinced it’s not just my mom refreshing to give me more views)!
This month I am featuring a Fashionista who constantly impresses me with her casual-cool girl style. You know those girls who can pull off anything? That’s this girl for ya! This particular look she is rocking is perfect for a night out with the girls or maybe the boyfriend for Valentine’s Day! Jeans and a jacket is such a go-to look for college kids, so why not make it a little more fun with some ripped skinny jeans and a suede moto jacket? This Fashionista’s black jeans are super wearable but the rips add a little grunge twist that is super trendy right now. Her killer suede jacket is totally the in piece of the season—instead of classic leather, switch it up with a camel covered suede for an unpredictable, but still easy-to-wear edge. She kept it simple with the rest of the outfit with a lace black cami and flat black ankle booties. Her pretty necklace is from Free People and totally ties the whole look together! This Fashionista sure knows how to rock that cool girl vibe. You could take this look anywhere—from dinner with the gals to a movie downtown, it literally works for anything. Don’t you just love outfits that work for everything?
