With the end of the semester creeping up on us, we are all either: 1) super stoked for summer break or 2) super stoked for graduation. Yes, a few of you are lucky enough to be finally finishing college and walking away with a hard-earned degree. And what better way to celebrate than with a gorgeous outfit for the occasion?
Today’s Fashionista is glammed up in BCBGMAXAZRIA wearing a floral top and bodycon skirt. The printed top is an instant eye-catcher and makes the outfit interesting. The pink and blue hues are perfect for spring and summer, while the ruffles add a feminine touch. To contrast the busy top, she wore a blush-colored skirt. A tighter fitting skirt, such as a knit or a bandage skirt, is going to balance an outfit when worn with a flowy, looser top.
Special events always call for heels in my book! Whether your graduation gown is too long on you or you just want that extra height, a pair of heeled shoes is going to make your walk up to that diploma killer. This Fashionista wore wedge sandals that give the outfit serious summer vibes. You never know how sunny the day might get, so a pair of shades is a must (no one wants to squint his or her eyes when taking pictures!). This Fashionista rocked some black aviators.
Whatever your outfit is for graduation, it’s all about wearing what makes you feel confident and amazing. Graduation is about recognizing and celebrating all the hard work you’ve done to get to this point, so why not spend your last day as a student looking fabulous?
One Simple Change:Â Swap the skirt with a pair of denim cut-offs for the perfect summer outfit. It’s great for hanging out with friends and running errands. You could even ditch the wedges and wear some cute sandals for a festival look.
