For anyone graduating from a university or college, we can all attest to how fast our four years (or more) go by. The excitement of our first year seems like it was just yesterday, but alas all good things must come to an end. It is our time to say goodbye to a place we called home, and jump in head first to our next adventure.
Graduation results in the unescapable photoshoot by your parents to document your accomplishment, which you know will end up being mass emailed to all your family. With that said, it is important to pick an outfit that you makes you feel confident as well as showcases your personal style, since it’s your day after all!

She demonstrates my favourite “less is more” approach, as this day is all about you and your amazing accomplishments. She keeps her jewelry simple with just a pair of silver studs to bring focus to her face. She keeps her makeup minimal to show off her natural beauty, and curls her hair to perfectly frame her face. Finally she wears a pair of black cork-heeled wedges, a foolproof choice of footwear for adding height and elongating the leg without sinking one’s heel into the grass.
One Simple Change: When you finish with your ceremony and all the picture taking that follows, most of us want to head out and celebrate with our fellow graduate and friends. As always, one can easily take a look from day to night by just a few enhancements. With this look all I would do is enhance the makeup by adding more eyeliner and a light lipstick to add a touch of more colour to the look.
