It’s back again!
That dreaded season for all college students: midterms. Regardless if you have written exams, papers, presentations, or all of the above, midterms season is that time of the semester when you loose track of time, you put your hair up in a bun, you don’t have enough time for contouring and dolling-up, and you ultimately rely on hoodies and sweatpants for days. But despite this being a not-so-fashionable college season, there are still ways to look presentable while being comfortable and that’s exactly what this Fashionista did.
She started by putting on a pair of jeans, which automatically makes you look like you at least put some effort in the morning when it was time to put an outfit together and you didn’t just leave your house in your pajamas. She paired them with a long sleeve striped top, which adds a little color to the ensemble. Next, she added a pair of white Converse, which gives the look that college vibe and adds a touch of comfort to the outfit. Last but not least, she added a comfy gray sweater-ish coat, which keeps her warm and comfortable throughout the day. The final touches include a gorgeous Michael Kors tote, with an ideal size for all her college essentials, and a Michael Kors watch so she never loses track of those deadlines.
Although we are almost done with this sleep-depriving college season, I wouldn’t mind incorporating some of these elements on future school outfits. Particularly, the aspect of comfort is important for me, especially in a day with back-to-back classes and almost no time for breaks. The takeaway? Realizing that style and comfort can go hand in hand, even during a time as stressful and time consuming as midterms season.
