Nothing rings in the New Year like resolutions, new goals, and a new wardrobe. After Christmas sales are my favorite time to shop for all my favorite winter brands. I made sure to save my holiday money earned and received to let myself have a ‘treat yourself’ moment or two. This Fashionista and I decided to shop and I wanted to capture her effortless “Fashionista running an errand” look that she pulled together.
This Fashionista is keeping warm while incorporating winter trends to her outfit. She is wearing a white winter coat, which is perfect for wearing casual like she is or dressing up for holiday events. Her black leggings and over the knee boots are a solid combination for winter weather and adding a trendy take on a casual outfit. Over the knee boots is my favorite trend from last year that still looks great with skinny jeans, dresses, and leggings! Lastly, she is accessorizing with a bold green scarf, black lace choker, and sunglasses. Wearing a green or any bold colored scarf with a white jacket is a classic look that is also an easy way to stay warm and stay fashionable. The choker is the up and coming go-to accessory that I see most girls wearing around my campus and is a great minimal necklace that adds an edgy, yet chic take on any look.
What makes this Fashionista’s look so effortless and fashionable is the cool colors that were incorporated and the fashion trends that peek through. This outfit is great for shopping because of how easy these items are to take off and on for trying on clothes and is perfect for any cold temperatures because you can always take off the scarf or add more warm accessories like mittens or a slouchy beanie.
