This Fashionista knows how to work it. I caught her walking—no strutting—down the sidewalk on her way to a local office supply store and knew I had to write about her simple yet funky style. The top has a dull silver sparkle that initially caught my eye, though the best part of the outfit is the choker attached to the top. I’m not sure if I love it because it has me reminiscing of ballet rehearsal as a kid, or if I just love the idea of a shirt that accessorizes itself.
Silver and gold may be a catchy tune, but here’s an instance that proves silver can speak for itself. The black skirt and tights are every gal’s dream because they’re way more comfy than jeans. I mean tights are the fashionable version of leggings, right? Maybe not. However, my favorite part of this ensemble had to be the black kicks. They’re grungy and comfy and they make you actually want to go school shopping this semester. At least that’s what I’d like to think, since this Fashionista was going to the office supply store. She could have just been buying a pack of gum for all I know.
Anyways, this semester whether you’re trying to battle your way through the bookstore or just through the cosmetics aisle of CVS, make sure your outfit screams comfort while still looking sleek and chic. You never know when that cutie in your math class will ask you what the date is. Too bad everyday can’t be October 3rd.
