As the end of the semester is approaching and warmer weather is finally here, great fashion can be seen all over campus. I’ve absolutely loved seeing how everyone’s wardrobes have transitioned into spring. I spotted one Fashionista who dressed perfectly for spring.
My favorite part of this Fashionista’s look was the bright colors. Bright colors scream spring. This maxi skirt was full of color and the fun pattern made it stand out. Maxi skirts are great for the season because they work on really hot days and cooler nights. She paired a bright orange strapless top with the skirt. The color complemented the skirt and reminded me of the beautifully colored sunsets I spot from my balcony. This outfit was clearly made for the warm spring sun, but if it was cooler outside, she could throw on a simple cardigan or jean jacket and look just as stylish.
This Fashionista piled some accessories on to take this outfit a step farther. A simple pair of gold flip flops kept the outfit casual. Sunglasses are a must on sunny days. A brown belt added a nice touch to the outfit, separating the skirt and top. Watches prove to be a functional accessory during college. This rose gold one is more glamorous than an average watch, perfect for any Fashionista. My favorite accessory of hers, however, was her statement necklace. It was full of jewels and beautiful metal touches. There’s nothing that completes an outfit more than a great statement necklace.
With the semester winding down, don’t let your fashion sense wind down as well. Take some advice from this Fashionista and incorporate bright colors, fun patterns and great pieces to dress perfectly for spring.
One Simple Change:Â You can easily make this outfit work for a girl’s night out. Swap the maxi skirt for a fun printed skater or mini skirt and the flip flops for some heels and you’ll be set for a night of fun with your friends.
