When I think of spring, I visualize immediate brightness. It’s that time of the season when everyone’s happiness seems to appear, for the sun’s warm rays are finally welcoming the world to come out, play and dress to the nines. When scoping out Radford University’s campus for a Fashionista/o, my goal was to find an individual who resembled the beautiful spring day that was among us.
I immediately spotted this Fashionista due to her pastel coral sundress, which was flattering to her positive and vibrant personality. Her outfit was super simple, which is yet again a returning favorite theme of mine in fashion, and in life when permitted. She listened to the warm but crisp weather and paired a light gray knitted cardigan on top of her dress, which was a nice contrast against the light shades of coral and darker gray that completed the color-blocking of her dress. Her accessories were kept to a minimum with her killer shades and saddle brown thong sandals. Neutral sandals like these are a must-have when it comes to the warmer months because they can be worn with almost anything. With summer travel plans, we Fashionistas have to at least attempt to pack light, which is almost always a struggle.
One Simple Change: As we approach graduation season, this sundress would be a lovely option for a celebratory party! First, put that sweater away until later for possible late night chills, and swap out those saddle brown sandals for a killer pair of strappy rose gold wedges with a dark gray accent. Complement those fabulous shoes with stacked rose gold bangles and a smile!
