Spring has sprung—well, almost! Everyone on campus is showing symptoms of that spring fever with the recent warmer weather! Mother Nature seems to be a tad fickle lately, and I know most hope she sticks with these sunny, breezy and beautiful days! “Quadding” season is fast approaching—the time when students of Manhattan College can lay out on our quad, taking in the sun with a good book or some good company. This month’s Fashionista displays a beautiful look that complements the breezy and fun weather!
This off-the-shoulder, “flowy” button-down top is perfect for any occasion, especially a spring day in the city. Sometimes I know I want a fun and flirty look but don’t feel comfortable in cropped shirts. This shirt is a delicate balance of both, and this Fashionista rocks it! It is also finally the season for ripped jeans, although I admit I have been wearing them all winter, and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s the perfect weather to get away with still wearing pants, but not being too hot in them as well! These jeans along with her short brown booties complete this look! This Fashionista is ready for anything that comes her way—whether it may be class, a day of shopping or lunch with friends!
One Simple Change: Want to dress this look up even more and wear it out into the city at night? Switch out the booties for some fun and fancy heels and you are ready to go!
