WHAT TO WEAR: Spring

I don’t know about you, but the in between weather from winter to spring always has my brain confused as well as my outfit choices. Do I go with bright colors in hopes of lying to myself that sunshine will soon prevail? Or do I stay in my all-black phase of winter, hoping my demure look with at least hold in whatever heat I can get. There is no doubt that seasonal transitions are tough for even the most advanced Fashionista, but combining the right pieces will help us all create some stellar looks.

Mingling with the natural setting around her, this Fashionista is perfectly transitioning from the neutrals of the winter weather to that of spring time here in the valley. The color scheme is far away from a dark winter day, but still doesn’t overly scream summertime fun. With colder mornings and chiller nights, students here can not quickly transition to shorts and a tank top. Here, you can pair this look with a cardigan or a jean jacket to add structure and warmth!

Asking this Fashionista about her look, she says her simple ribbed top is from PacSun and the green army pants were discovered at a local thrift shop. As for the shoes, any Ked’s shoe will do for long walks around the budding campus. Because we were heading towards the end of the week, she decided to go for a neutral fresh face, matching her bohemian vibes and chilled character. Whether running around between classes or soaking in some much needed sun, any Fashionista can recreate this outfit.

One Simple Change: To transition this look from class to a more formal occasion, pop on a pair of chunky black or neutral heels. Recently, I’ve been obsessed with the wood accents in heels. Shoes like this will surely add definition to any outfit plus a little spunk.
