I guess April snow brings May flowers? Last week, it snowed every day in Kent, Ohio, so I couldn’t be more excited for the warm temperatures and sunshine of spring to finally be here for good.
This Fashionista wore all my favorite trends on this (semi) warm spring day. She shakes up the oversized denim trend with this thrifted jacket from her hometown in Arizona. My favorite part about this outfit is the large floral panel on the back of the denim jacket. It’s so unexpected and perfect for spring; it wasn’t too expensive either! If that doesn’t make you want to go thrifting this weekend, I don’t know what will.
She paired this amazing jacket with a lace-up short sleeve crop top and high-waisted black distressed denim. The lace-up detail is super on-trend, and you can’t go wrong with black denim.
To accessorize, this Fashionista added heeled black booties and a black choker. While black booties are practically a staple, chokers are the latest obsession taken from the ‘90s. Personally, I can’t get enough of this trend and neither can this Fashionista.
One Simple Change: Even as the temperature rises in the summer, you can still wear this amazing look. Just swap the black denim jeans for a denim mini skirt in an indigo or black color, and trade the booties for sandals.
