WHAT TO WEAR: Spring

It’s that time of year again—sundress season! However, it can be extremely difficult to plan a perfectly springy outfit around the fickle April weather. Prone to wind, rain and random drops in temperature, this month is certainly not the easiest in terms of outfit choice.

This Fashionista managed to beat the weather by choosing a versatile twist on the average sundress. Not only is it keeping with the trend of bell sleeves, it also has an adorable cut-out on the back, accentuating the chicness of this look. Unlike many other sundresses, this one remains light and airy, while still providing coverage if necessary. The long sleeves make for an interesting take on a staple style for this season.

For this look, this Fashionista smartly paired a simple, beaded necklace with the already-established pattern of the dress. Her nude wedges were another great addition, keeping the details of the outfit cohesive and allowing the dress to be the centerpiece of this look. You can easily throw on a rain jacket if an afternoon shower shows up; if the air gets a little balmy, the dress still allows for the breathability of the standard sundress, making this the perfect spring staple.

One Simple Change: The wedges make this look great for a more formal spring event, however, it can easily be dressed down for a more casual spring day. For a day of shopping with friends, I would pair this dress with some on-trend gladiator sandals and a neutral colored hat for a cute and casual look that says spring has sprung.
