With summer in full swing, the temperatures are hot and the sun is bright. It can be so easy to get stuck in the rut of Nike shorts and oversized T-shirts. Nevertheless, this Fashionista manages to look as cool as the iced coffee she was sipping on.
She starts off with an easy dress; it is very boho-chic in print as well as cut. I am in love with the big bell sleeves that pay homage to the free spirited ‘70s. She keeps it simple for a casual afternoon by pairing her dress with high-top Converse and a baseball cap. Long live sneakers with dresses! This trend has got to be my favorite thing since leggings were first dropped on the scene. Non-athletic sneakers have caught on in a huge way, and why not? They are cute, comfortable and go with everything. I am a firm believer that there is a pair of sneakers out there for everyone. Topping it off with a ball cap is such a cool and functional addition to the outfit. It features the logo of an awesome local coffee shop and keeps the sun out of her eyes and off her face. As a pale girl that has to look out for UV rays, I find that incredibly important. Remember to stay safe in the pursuit of vitamin D!
One Simple Change: Swap out the ball cap for a felt floppy hat to match the bohemian vibe of the dress, and get ready to take on your next concert or music festival!
