After a long and dreary winter, it is safe to say that I’m very excited that summer is right around the corner! Winter clothes are officially packed away for the season and to me, warm weather means shorts galore. You can never have too many different styles to try out! One of my favorite styles is high-waisted. And this outfit is a great example of how to rock that look.

Her patterned button-down is the perfect material for summer and the cropped style is perfect for warmer weather. Her round sunglasses give this look a very retro vibe and are the perfect accessory for summer. The whole look is very effortless but still manages to catch one’s attention.
Warm weather also means summer shoes. More specifically, sandals! The vintage style of her sandals is brought back in such a fun and understated way and manages to flow perfectly with the rest of the outfit. Even though I am a fan of lots of jewelry to finish a look, minimal accessories work for this outfit because many of the pieces stand out on their own. This is the perfect outfit for various summer activities at any time of day!
One Simple Change: Throw on a simple V-neck and add a leather jacket. Or add a statement necklace to make this daytime look ready for a night out on the town!
