I have always loved how summer lifted away the stress of school and opened up time to spend with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Many of my summers were spent by the pool accompanied by one of my best friends. We’d spend the morning through the afternoon catching up, giving advice and enjoying the wonderful warm weather. Usually, we’d head somewhere to get dinner without having time to even go home and change. I always remembered to come prepared with a versatile cover-up or a change of clothing that was cute and casual for summertime!
Having a cute cover-up and a quick change of clothing while on the go doesn’t need to be complicated. If you’re heading to the beach or pool during the day, you don’t want a ton of clothing and accessories to carry around with you. Something that’s lightweight, won’t wrinkle too much and doesn’t need many accessories for it to be stylish is ideal to wear.
That’s exactly what I thought of when I saw this Fashionista! Her gorgeous black and white design kimono caught my eye as she was headed to the pool. The kimono really took center stage for her outfit! She paired it with some cute white high-waisted shorts underneath that gave her more coverage while she was out and about. The sheer fabric really made the white shorts pop with her bikini top! She finished off the look with neutral sandals that had small metal stud details on the top. The brown in her sandals definitely tied in well with the brown buttons lining down the front of her kimono. This look was perfectly boho, versatile and laid-back for a fun summer day with friends!
