Schools out! Or is it? For some students the school year doesn’t stop during the summer. But just because you’re in school instead of at the beach doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look your best. I was lucky enough to spot this lovely Fashionista coming out of class sporting this fresh and fun summer look. As we all know, summertime is all about simplicity, especially when you have to rush off to summer classes. This Fashionista created the perfect summer outfit by combining three separate pieces in a monochromatic color scheme.
Let’s take it from the top, the crop top, that is. This toned hunter green crop top goes perfectly with this trendy vertically stripped bodycon skirt. Side note; I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t get away from vertical stripes. I’ve seen them on everything from rompers to pants and of course this amazing skirt. I think it’s safe to say that summer 2015 is all about vertical stripes. Alright, back to this spectacular outfit. Our Fashionista added a cozy oversized knit cardigan, a staple for a chilly summer day. A pair of black sandals top off the outfit giving the ensemble a Boho beachy feel. Her beautiful red Céline bag adds just the right amount of color to this monochromatic outfit. All-in-all this is a perfect summer outfit for an on-the-go Fashionista.
Summer semester is great time to get ahead in school. It’s also a great time to show off your stylish summer outfits. Remember, you can’t go wrong with light and airy separates. Now back to the books!
One Simple Change: If you finish your homework early and decide you want to hit the boardwalk or grab some lunch with your fellow Fashionistas, the addition of a fabulous straw floppy hat would take this outfit to the next level.
