Whether you go to school, live or just like to hang out in the city, you know how hot and uncomfortable the weather can get. How do you stay cool when it’s sizzling hot out? The right outfit can really make or break whether you’re going to melt or make it. Melting is not fun for anyone, so let’s make sure that doesn’t happen.
The obvious go-to is shorts and a short sleeve shirt or tank top. I don’t know about you guys, but when I’m in the city, I like to step it up a bit. So let’s step it up! Instead of classic jean shorts (that tend to stick to you), go for colored chino shorts from Banana Republic. They can add a pop of color and are a softer, more comfortable option. As for a top, instead of a plain cotton tank top, try a weightless, airy, chiffon top. It’ll be breathable and effortlessly chic at the same time. Oh, and we can’t forget about your feet! You can never go wrong with a pair of leather sandals. Just throw those on and you are good to go.
Feel free to add any accessories to liven things up. My favorite go-to is a pair of sunglasses. Not only are they functional, but really change a look for the better. I never leave the house without my sunnies, specifically my gold trimmed Ray-Ban aviators.
I hope this helps you guys the next time you take on the city streets. Good luck my Fashionista/os, and stay cool!
