The Oregon Ducks have officially made it to the inaugural National Championship game against the Ohio State Buckeyes. So, with their recent win over Florida State, the Ducks are officially flying south to Dallas, Texas to win it all. It will be a tough game, and I know Oregon fans will be cheering loud whether they are in Dallas, at home or watching at a local restaurant in Eugene. Many of Oregon’s Fashionistas/os will join the football team in Texas, and they will definitely be bringing their style with them. Tailgating Oregon style is a great way to show off your look while highlighting one’s Oregon pride.
Here, this Fashionista rocks the yellow, green, black and white colors of the Oregon Ducks. A sleek white Marcus Mariota number eight jersey styled with her herringbone black and heather grey lululemon leggings are paired with her Burberry rain boots to show off her preppy style. To top everything off, her Marc Jacobs lime yellow cross-body bag completes the look, giving it a pop of color. This look is comfortable, cute and, if it starts raining, practical.
Going to an Oregon tailgate is really part of the Duck experience—friends and family enjoying it together, cheering and displaying your school pride. It doesn’t get much better. In Oregon, make sure to bring a stylish raincoat because contrary to popular belief it does in fact rain in Autzen. So, whether we are in Texas or back home in Eugene, all of us Fashioistas/os hopefully won’t lose sight of our style, and remember, go Ducks!
One Simple Change: When the sun decides to come out behind all of these clouds in the spring, dig into your closet and wear a pair of high-waisted shorts, and trade your rain boots for some Converse.
