It is finally that time of the year again: football season! More importantly: tailgating season! Tailgating is great because you get to rep your school while eating and hanging out with friends and family! In the past few years football has not been too big at Temple University, but football fever is back at Temple this year due to a big win against Penn State during our home opener!
I spotted this Fashionista taking pictures with her friends before getting ready to head over to the tailgate at Lincoln Financial Field. Her outfit is comfortable for a long hot day outside, yet it is still put together. She took a simple T-shirt and dressed it up with pom-pom shorts and a red button-down tied around her waist. The black combat boots add an extra oomph to the outfit by giving her a cool girl vibe. This outfit is perfect for the girls who want to look cute, but not like they are trying too hard!
This outfit is great because it is tailgating style but with flair. When I think of tailgating I think of a T-shirt and denim shorts, but this Fashionista took a step in a different direction by adding trendy elements to her look such as bold red lips and a red bow—the perfect color for supporting Temple!
One Simple Change: As football season goes on, the weather tends to get chillier. Swap out the shorts for a pair of ripped jeans. The ripped jeans will add to the grunge look with the button-down and combat boots.
