One of the best things about being in college are the football games. Even then there’s one thing that tops that; it’s tailgating before! I personally love tailgating. You get free food/drinks, get to listen to good music, hangout with your friends and of course you get to dress up! I actually ran into this Fashionista at a friend’s house, preparing for tailgate. We were both cheering on the Texas State Bobcats! I love her outfit because it’s a mix of both fall and winter clothes.
Starting up top this Fashionista is wearing a white tank top with a gray cardigan on top. For the bottoms, she is wearing a super cute mini red bodycon skirt with lace detailing. What I really love about this Fashionista’s outfit are her accessories, they make the outfit a bit more dressed up and of course are the colors of our school team. Tailgating for Fashionistas is all about the accessories. To show off her beautiful shape, she accessorized her outfit with a simple gray belt with braiding detail. I really adore how she tucked the excess part of the belt. For her shoes, she has gray boots that almost reach her knees. With the weather being too cold for flats that show some skin, I really need to get myself a pair! For jewelry she is wearing large pair of red and gold Kendra Scott earrings and a gold key around her neck. Kendra Scott is a famous accessory company in the South and basically almost every woman here owns at least one pair, so seeing these at a tailgate is a necessity.
One Simple Change: After your exciting day of tailgating and going out to support your team, the lowering temperature is starting to make you feel a bit chilly; switch out your skirt for a pair of skinny denim jeans. Denim is a thicker fabric so the cold air and wind will not affect you. These jeans will be perfect for going out later to celebrate your team’s victory!
