Ah, spring days are finally upon us. This means for us preppy Fashionistas it’s a time for baby blues, white jeans, and a pair of Jack Rogers. The only problem is that it can still be a little chilly outside walking to class and trying to run everyday errands.
This Fashionista knows how to achieve those springtime vibes perfectly without mistaking the temperature outside. She wears a baby blue short sleeve blouse for a slight pop of color. It is all about the back with this blouse. If you take a quick peek at this outfit the back is a highlight, finishing off this already preppy top with a preppy essential; a tied bow. This is not only a trend for preppy Fashionistas it’s been seen on many fast-fashion off-the-shoulder tops and dresses. It’s a major trend for this spring and summer season.
A year ago I would have cringed at the thought of this but I have recently become a supporter of winter whites. I think that wearing white pants in the winter and chillier months adds something different to an outfit and makes it stand out. If she would have paired this outfit with white jeans it would have been a warm weather outfit to the max. Her decision to pair this top with the dark jeans was perfect. It created a spring vibe without being out of season.
She finished off this look with a simple pair of booties because it was still too chilly to break out her sandals. She accessorized this outfit very simply, finishing it off with her monogram necklace.
