Nothing beats that feeling of waking up early in the morning, ready to catch that early morning flight to the vacation you’ve been waiting for. Not only do you want to look cute at the airport full of people watchers, but you want to accomplish that, “Look at me, I’m going to Mexico!” look along with it! When I saw this Fashionista, I immediately knew she was headed somewhere tropical and couldn’t wait to pick up that island style.
Personally, I am in love with her take on the maxi shirt and denim vest combo. The bohemian, patterned maxi skirt screams vacation and the light wash denim vest tones down the combination to create the perfect amount of casual. Also, the best thing about the denim vest while traveling in the summer is that it can get so hot with all the running around it entitles. So, you can get that cute denim look but without the stress of having to be to hot amongst all of the other things you’re doing! This just goes to show how seamlessly you can put things together, and accomplish just the right amount of fun and causal while traveling.

With traveling comes walking around the airport, finding your luggage or sometimes even sightseeing. That’s why when I saw this Fashionista’s choice of flat beaded sandals, I knew she was totally vay-cay ready! Last but not least, this Fashionista’s nude tote really throws the entire look together! In my eyes, this is the perfect bag for traveling because it is big enough to fit all of those necessities for a plane ride.
One Simple Change: While you’re on vacation, you’re obviously going to have some fun nights out! To transition this to a nighttime look, slip off the denim vest and trade it for a fun blouse. Say hello to a perfect outfit for dinner on the beach with the girls!
