Leaving the house in the dead of the winter always seems like a chore. Why brace the cold when you can stay in and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and binge watch a show (or two or three). Winters on the east side can get brutal. It feels like we are brushing snow off our cars every other week. That’s why odd sixty degree days in December are heaven sent. They give us the opportunity to go out, get some fresh air, and show off your style.
This Fashionisto always enjoys an opportunity to put an outfit together. If you see this guy walking around school, you know he is dressed impeccably. Menswear typically leans more towards clean cuts and neutral colors, but he isn’t afraid to step outside of that bubble and play with color and texture.
This Fashionisto traded in his winter coat for a cool, light jacket on this unseasonably warm day. I like bomber jackets because they give your outfits and extra layer of cool without compromising the look you have underneath. Try a graphic sweater underneath your bomber and you’ll be set. This Fashionisto finished the look off with simple black jeans and colorful sneaks. Footwear doesn’t have to be neutral. The best way to dress up a simple outfit is with accessories and your shoes are the most important one.
Next time winter decides to temporarily leave, think of it as a perfect day to showcase some of your style without freezing and looking like a marshmallow in your winter coat.
