As the semester draws to a close, the weeks seem to grow longer and longer. In the beginning of the semester, Monday to Friday felt like five days (or less), but now Monday in and of itself feels like five whole days. I don’t know about you, but sometimes it’s hard to get myself to dress up during a long week of classes, so I usually stick to loungewear and workout clothes Monday through Friday. It’s not until the weekend where I choose to show off my style and get creative. So I guess you could call me a weekend warrior?
This Fashionisto works the same nine-to-five job everyday, so his wardrobe is constricted to solely dress shirts and dress pants during the work-week. Being the fashion-forward guy that he is, he told me he likes to use Saturday and Sunday as his days to let his true style shine. Let’s breakdown his weekend wear.
On a casual Saturday out running errands, this Fashionisto chose a royal blue cotton v-neck T-shirt. Although it’s deemed a “basic T-shirt,” there’s nothing like throwing on a comfy tee and looking effortlessly put together. The blue color of the shirt gives his look the perfect pop of spring/summer color. Instead of opting for cliché blue jeans, this Fashionisto chose to rock a pair of brown skinny chinos. He donned a cool pair of burgundy leather shoes to maintain the cool vibe he was going for. To accessorize his look, he wore a monochromatic black watch.
One Simple Change: Take this look from casual to date night by switching out the T-shirt with a crisp button-down shirt.
