As all of us college students know, weekends are sacred as it is the only time we are able to take a breather from our busy schedules. When it comes to dressing for the weekend, the world is your oyster. If you have an outfit in mind that you have always wanted to try out, this is the time to flaunt it.
I spotted this Fashionista on her way to a friend’s baby shower. She went on to tell me that her friend specifically requested that she dress up for said occasion. Well, that request did not go in vain. Her outfit is based off an all black foundation, upon which she threw on a colourful kimono cardigan to add a pop of colour that brought out the blue and turquoise in her hair. This Fashionista rocked a sheer top by wearing a sports bra on the inside for a modest look. Keep that in mind when you are at a loss of what to wear underneath a sheer top. A bralette is a great alternative as well for a feminine touch.
What caught my eye with her outfit are her accessories. She layered her quartz necklace along with a Mod Sun necklace. Not only does her necklaces add personality to her outfit, but they also are great conversation starters. Fans of Mod Sun would instantly spot that necklace and that could spark a conversation anywhere. Accessories are great additions to outfits for that extra punch.
