If you’re as lucky as I am, school isn’t too far away from home. After a long grueling week of classes and tests, I get the pleasure of being able to take a short drive back home for a relaxing weekend full of Netflix, family time and (possibly my favorite) a good night’s sleep in my own bed. However, for me, going back home for a weekend doesn’t just consist of sweatpants and lounging around. Though I do relish in my relaxation time, I also want to look and feel my best around friends and family.
While out for the weekend, this spotted Fashionisto shows he too enjoys spicing up his outfit on his days off. Keeping warm in the winter weather, he wears a cotton button-up flannel layered under a fleeced puffer vest. Rather than wearing a thick sweater jacket, his vest manages to keep him warm as well as help him achieve a trendy look. His dark wash denim jeans bring out the navy and blue hues of his flannel. For shoes, the Fashionisto keeps it cool in Polo Ralph Lauren sneakers with leather laces.
The Fashionisto’s casual ensemble gives off a confident and easy going vibe for hanging out with friends on the weekend.
One Simple Change: Like this look enough to take it back to campus for some tailgating? Simply swap your flannel for your favorite long sleeve school logo T-shirt! Over your long sleeve, wear your fleeced puffer vest. This way you can still keep warm in your vest while showing school spirit with your bros.
