The weekend is the perfect time to be comfortable and still be cute to run errands or hang with friends and family. Here in Memphis, weekends are filled with sporting events, concerts and a gatherings involving delicious food.
I caught this Fashionista outside a Grizzles game where she managed to pull in trends from the winter and spring seasons. Here in Tennessee, there is consistently crazy weather. So when it goes from 37 degrees to 61 degrees in a matter of a few days, we get excited and break out the spring wear we’ve been dying to show off.
This Fashionista shows her ’70s style with wide leg pants and keeps the outfit in neutral colors to reflect the weather. Oxblood was a big color trend for the fall and winter season. Plus, the floppy hat trend exploded on the runways for spring 2015, especially in the Rebecca Minkoff show, who modernized the style by making it more structured. Spring 2015 is also about lengths, which Max Mara showed off in his show. This Fashionista tied the outfit together with a vest, adding a little spice to her graphic tee and accenting her printed pants.
My favorite parts of the entire outfit are the accessories! Graphic bags are a big hit this spring as Valentino shows us. Not only is her bag cute, it the perfect size for only carrying a few things as you move throughout the day. Her gorgeous stone ring adds simplicity to the outfit since her other pieces speak for themselves.
One Simple Change: Take this outfit from day to night by adding wedges to create height and dress up the look.
