You know that moment in class when your mind starts to drift off? Maybe you start dreaming of a beach because you seriously cannot with the incessant snow fall. Or maybe images of you in the comfiest sweats you own, sitting on your couch and binge-watching an entire season of Scandal come to mind. It’s almost the weekend, and I know you cannot wait for all that free time.
This Fashionista knows the way to effortless weekend style. Layering, which is always a valid option for unpredictable weather, was the core of her outfit. While the weather was nothing short of beautiful here in Los Angeles, she still topped off her ensemble with a beige duster, and underneath she went for a pure white duo of destroyed denim and a cotton T-shirt. Although she was rather covered up, her neutral pieces could stand alone as wardrobe staples. Neutral colors, such as white and beige, are soothing and require minimal effort, making them perfect for your weekend outfit. Accessorizing her look with tan pumps and a ring set completed this easygoing look.
So, my weekend usually follows a similar pattern every week. On Friday night I will probably be working late, so Netflix and a jumbo bag of butter popcorn it is. On Saturday I get to enjoy the day, possibly sleep in and then stroll through the streets of LA with the bae. When Sunday rolls around I am so relaxed that the daily grind of next week couldn’t even faze me. Possibly the best part of the weekend (at least for me) is being able to dress exactly how I want. The art to weekend wear is maintaining comfortability without sacrificing style. Nothing says chic more than a well-styled weekend warrior.
One Simple Change: Her jeans and oversized T-shirt pair well with an armful of shopping bags. However, her coat and platforms would work exceptionally well with an LBD for a girl’s night out.
