I am definitely a sucker for different shades of blue. In case you were wondering, that was not a Fifty Shades of Grey reference, but this Fashionista is just as buzzworthy. Spring season is here, and the first thing on our minds is how we’re going to debut our best spring colors. Weekends are my favorite time to show off any new pieces I found over spring break. Different pastel hues paired with neutrals are all the talk now, and this Fashionista showed us a little of what she’s working with this season.
Aquamarine is such a pretty color to mix with others. Her sweater was a nice match with her dark denim and was adorned with small buttons along her wrists and back. Her outfit reminded me of a girl from the country who adopted a little city style. She wore a very subtle vintage belt buckle that complemented the detail of her belt. The turquoise stone was also a pretty touch to her sweater. Other accessories included her navy blue tote bag, which introduced a little color-blocking. Mixing shades of one hue is always a fun idea when transitioning seasons. It was still cool enough outside to wear boots, so this Fashionista rocked heeled brown ones.
One Simple Change: Weekends can be full of activities like hanging out with the girls or a relaxed date night. This pair of moccasins is an awesome way to make your outfit more casual. To keep the vintage feel, trade your dark jeans for a light-washed pair. This detailed, embroidered shirt would make a fun match.
