Whether you’re getting ready to go to a concert, a party, or a girl’s night out, this Fashionista is prepared to get down with the get down! Sometimes finding something to wear on a day on the town can be frustrating and/or difficult depending on the occasion. We tend to resort to saying we have nothing to wear or something along those lines. However, we often forget that dressing up can be fun and exciting, even if you don’t have anything new you want to wear. The goal is to own what you’ve got—literally! Rummage through previous articles of clothing or ask to borrow something from your roommate or friend. Even ask your girls for some advice or styling tips if you’re having trouble. The point is to own it!
The great part about this outfit is that it’s super easy to put together. The laid back look is always an attention-grabber, especially, when you add your own flare to make it cute. This Fashionista is going to the mall and then headed to catch a movie with friends. I know we all wish we could pick something to wear as easily as Cher could in Clueless. Let’s all climb out of bed at 8:00 a.m., press a button on our PCs that make the racks in our closet spin around while digitally displaying our garbs on the screen until we approve. As if!
Yet that’s what makes this outfit so effortless and simple to dress up or dress down. It puts a classy twist on an essentially comfortable fit. This Fashionista’s light gray crop top coexists perfectly with her chunky, salmon-colored necklace. Her turquoise cross-body messenger bag adds a nice touch to her faded blue jeans and the fabricated denim rips in them give the overall fit a very modern vibe. The Ray-Bans and dirty white Keds are my favorite of her accessories because she lets on that she’s ready for an adventurous day in the city.
One Simple Change: Trade out that chunky colorful necklace for a thin gold one, switch to a neutral-colored handbag, throw on a pair of wedges and you’ve got a successful date night outfit. Anything can be conquered in this #RAD weekend ensemble!
