Every year it is a sad time saying goodbye to my favorite summer pieces for the next six winter months. My warm weather obsessed self would wear free flowing dresses all year! I’m easily guilty of buying rompers and tank tops when it is below freezing outside. Winter seems to last forever here in Indiana. When in the Midwest, the endless summer is always appealing.
This campus Fashionista didn’t let the winter weather slow her down. I love her winter take on a summer romper. More and more people seem to be heading towards a minimalistic or capsule closet. Meaning, wearing and using what you have instead of buying more product each and every season. The perfect idea to save time getting dressed, save money, our environment and more! This Fashionista nailed a capsized closet look by reworking her summer piece into the chillier months.
Her outfit is seamlessly taken from summer to winter with the addition of matching tights and socks. This Fashionista perfected the look with her cozy, shaggy sweater. I am obsessed with her effortless beach waved her in combination with the bohemian prints and textures. Her little details, the mini flower crown and choker necklace, give an extra dash of spice to the look.
This impeccable transition of seasons has me eager to layer my most-loved summer pieces. How will you rework yours?
One Simple Change:  Chill to the bone outside? No problem for a Fashionista or Fashionisto! Layer up with a chunky sweater on top of your adorable romper and top it off with an ultra warm yet chic jacket.
