Nike—Just Do It. Adidas—Impossible is Nothing. Kayla Itsines. Karlie Kloss. Inspiration to workout and get in shape is everywhere, but the best inspiration comes from within. What better way to get motivated and make it the gym than to look fabulous? When you put together in an outfit that matches your go-getter attitude and helps you conquer your exercise routine. Make the gym your runway, strut your stuff. This week’s toned and fit Fashionista gets through her workout with easy, early morning neutrals and adds a pop of color as an accent.
Her, “I’m serious about exercise and I look great doing it” outfit is easily achieved with four workout essentials: a solid pair of workout leggings that can go from the gym to class, a tank top with a funky cutout back to add a little flare. She also needs an awesome pair of sneakers and, most importantly water, always stay hydrated.
Our gym clad Fashionista is donning three of my all time favorite workout brands; Nike, Under Armour and Lululemon. Her leggings are Nike Sculpt Women’s Training capris. She pairs these with a cutout racer back gray tank top, a similar one can be found at Lululemon. The pop of color is courtesy of Under Armour Speed Form sneakers.
One Simple Change: Okay, I lied, two simple changes. Take this look from workout-chic to a simple, spring day outfit by swapping the sneakers for J.Crew Rio Metallic sandals in brocade gold and trading the Lululemon tank for an Express Extreme Circle Hem Tunic sweater in neutral. The sandals are the perfect shoe for leggings, with a little heel for added lift, and the knit sweater with ¾ sleeves will keep you warm on a brisk spring day.
