I don’t know about you guys, but this time of year is when I go into my bikini thinking mode. February is the time of year when all the rush of the holidays are over, spring semester is past the “syllabus week” mode and people are finally starting to get back into their daily routines, the only problem is: we all have no motivation to do anything! At least, that’s the case for me. Working out seems to be the last thing on my list but I have to keep in mind that spring is right around the corner and it’s a knocking!
One thing that helps me cope is fashion; one good outfit can change my day from a bad to a good one. Recently all I’ve been coming across whether I’m in the mall, shopping online, or on my social media sites, is stylish and affordable workout clothes. These outfits seem to be all the rage right now!
I have to admit I am guilty of wearing workout clothes on the days I skip the gym, but that’s only because of how comfortable and cute my recent workout apparel purchases have been. Workout attire comes in many shapes, styles and colors; there is a lot more choices at our fingertips now then the usually basketball shorts and over-sized t shirts. A nice half-zip spandex top is a very simple, yet stylish and extremely versatile option that could pair with any workout bottoms. In the winter time especially, I love a good spandex legging they are movable and flattering for all body types! The key to a solid put together workout outfit has got to be the shoes you rock! Sneakers have so many new colors, designs  and benefits; they are such a good investment and most definitely should not be over looked.
It doesn’t matter if you’re going to the gym, running errands after work or going to your night class; workout clothes are a must for any girl’s closet. You never know, the right workout outfit might just give you the boost of energy you need to get off your feet and start moving around again so you feel your best come springtime!
One Simple Change: When the nice weather rolls around and the sun comes out again, swap the half-zip nylon top for a sleeveless muscle tank or fitted T-shirt.
